July and August are always difficult months to manage with clients, designers, suppliers and staff being away on holiday. There always seems to be someone you want to get hold of and you can't! Never mind, everyone needs time out to relax and this summer has been glorious so far.

We've got 2 projects coming to an end this month and therefore 2 new ones starting.

The first one is for Marcus Barnett in Chiswick, London. This is a cool chic design for a family garden, with lots of polished concrete paving, dividing hedges creating beautiful outdoor living areas and an amazing cantilevered polished concrete water feature.
The second is for Andy Sturgeon in Holmbury St Mary,Surrey. We've already done some of the planting earlier this year, but this phase coming up is for the construction of a series of waterfalls and streams naturally running down this sloping garden.

Talking of holidays, I'm away in August for three weeks, starting with a few days in Berlin to see the botanical gardens (oh yes and the Berlin Beer Festival)followed by a couple of weeks in Turkey with the family.
