RHS Chelsea Silver Gilt Medal! Are we disappointed? No, not really. I know this is the end of our 5 year run of RHS Gold Medals, but it was probably one of the most adventurous gardens that we've ever built and I loved the end product and am very proud to have worked with Tom Hoblyn who was the designer. The build required a lot of technical detail and all of The Outdoor Room staff were brilliant.
Dan, Little Dave, Mark and Oliver are back working on a fantastically designed garden in Horsham for Andy Sturgeon, who won Best in Show at Chelsea(well done Andy!).
After the depressing process of Breakdown at Chelsea next week, Gavin is due to start another project in Sheen for Marcus Barnett, whilst
Alex, Ali, Steve and Matt are back to Great Chart, just outside Ashford in Kent, where they're building a magnificent seven acre medieval garden, also designed by Marcus.
As for me? well I did promise myself a couple of days off, but the enquiries have built up somewhat while I was staying up in London for nearly a month, so I've had to put that couple of days off for a few weeks.
