July 2009

Fantastic news this month. The Outdoor Room has won its fourth RHS gold medal in four years! The medal has been awarded for the conceptual garden we have built titled 'It's Hard to See' at The RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. The garden not only won a gold, but is also Best in Category. The designers are Rebecca Butterworth, Ludovica Ginanneschi and Victoria Pustygina, all of whom I tutored last year at The Inchbald School of Design. They have now set up a garden design practice called 'Design in Latitude' and now undertake commissions both nationally and internationally.

Future Gardens, in St. Albans, is now open to the public and runs until September. We built 2 gardens for the exhibition, one for Marcus Green and the other for Andy Sturgeon, and we wish them every success with the show.

All our other current projects are running well and we've got some really exciting work coming up over the next few months, so do keep an eye out on this newsletter to find out what we're up to.

As always, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss any projects you would like us to build for you.

Our next newsletter shall be posted in August 2009

Have a great summer!
